this was probably the hardest week i have trained so far. yesterday i rode 31 miles on my bike and then followed that up with a 2.5 mile run. I also started working out with a heart rate monitor, which i am still getting the hang. we will see how it goes. a little over a month until the carlsbad marathon
lately i have been renting full seasons of tv shows from netflix. I highly recomend getting a hold of "Freeks and Geeks". The fact that this got cancelled blows my mind. if you didnt catch it back in 1999-2000 it is pretty much a cross between "that 70's" and "the wonder years", but set in the 80's. last i night also watched the entire first season of "Scrubs". That show was great from the start. rent these dvd's.

day one... again
so I have decided to start my blog back up. This time for a different purpose, I am still going to include the random things i am thinking about and what's happening around me, but the main purpose to chronicle my triathlon and marathon training. This going to be my first year competing in endurance events and figure this would be a good way to document my training and racing. They say it's good to keep a log so you can look back at it and see where you may have made mistakes... so here it is. I already have an online training log which keeps tracks of the yards I swim and the miles i ride and run.
